David's 2001 European vacation: Day 1 Day 2
On our first full day in Belgium, Kris let us borrow her car, so David, Jim and I dropped her off at work, and then we did some sightseeing on our own during the day. First we stopped at Fort Breendonk, which was a German WWII concentration camp in Belgium. Then we drove to Antwerp. We parked across the river from downtown and walked through the pedestrian tunnel under the river.
That evening Dries grilled for us, and we ate outside in Dries and Kris' back yard.
