This was the seventh time that the Cincinnati Men's Chorus held a free concert at St. John's UCC church in Dayton in part to benefit Dayton PFLAG, and it was the second time that the Dayton Gay Men's Chorus participated by singing a few songs as a preview of our upcoming performances. I missed last year since I was in St. Croix, but I got to enjoy the experience this time. We were a little nervous during rehearsal, as you can see by the picture of people frantically studying their music, but it all went well, and CMC was fabulous as ever. Afterwards we went across the street to make an appearance at Square One's fifth anniversary open house, which was packed, and then decamped to Collectors, where Raymonde, one of our accompanists, plays the piano and where Jerry, our president, tends bar. They had a free buffet featuring terrific wings. It was a great evening! Click on a thumbnail to see a larger version. Hover over a thumbnail to read the caption.

We gathered in the basement at St. John's.
